Missouri State overcame a third-quarter UTEP comeback to secure a 38-24 victory at Robert W. Plaster Stadium. The Bears jumped to a commanding 24-7 halftime lead behind quarterback Jacob Clark's two touchdown passes to Jeron Askren. The Miners stormed back to tie the game at 24 in the third quarter, highlighted by Ekow Taylor's blocked punt return touchdown. Clark responded with two more touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to seal the win, finishing the day with four touchdown passes.
