The Lobos built a commanding 26-7 halftime lead behind McKinney's versatility, a safety, and Jack Layne's 40-yard touchdown pass to Cade Keith. Damon Bankston sealed the victory with a 41-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, while the Aggies' offense managed just two scores despite Miles Davis breaking free for a 64-yard touchdown run.
