Recap

Appalachian State stormed out to a commanding 17-0 first-quarter lead and held on for a thrilling 27-23 victory over Oregon State at Kidd Brewer Stadium. JJ Kohl powered the Mountaineers with a rushing touchdown and a 28-yard scoring strike to Davion Dozier, while Oregon State's Maalik Murphy kept the Beavers in contention with two touchdown passes.
