Recap

Temple dominated Charlotte 49-14 behind quarterback Evan Simon's masterful performance, throwing four touchdown passes while adding a rushing score. The Owls' defense was equally impressive, scoring twice on a 64-yard interception return by Adrian Laing and a 73-yard fumble return by Louis Frye. After a competitive first quarter ended tied at 7, Temple unleashed a 42-point barrage over the next two periods to turn the game into a rout at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
