Recap

Appalachian State dominated Georgia State 41-20, building a commanding 31-0 lead through three quarters behind quarterback JJ Kohl's four touchdown passes. The Mountaineers struck early and often, with Kohl connecting with Dozier, Barnes, Stroman, and Cummings for scores while Jaquari Lewis added a 14-yard touchdown run. Despite a late surge from the Panthers, including three touchdown passes from Cameran Brown, Georgia State's comeback bid fell well short as App State controlled the game from start to finish.
