Iowa dominated from start to finish in a lopsided 47-7 victory over Massachusetts at Kinnick Stadium. The Hawkeyes raced to a 20-0 first quarter lead behind Mark Gronowski's two touchdown passes to Seth Anderson and Kaden Wetjen's 20-yard scoring run. Wetjen added a spectacular 95-yard punt return touchdown in the third quarter, while Iowa's offense kept rolling with Gronowski adding a rushing score and the defense limiting the Minutemen to just one touchdown.
