Missouri State secured a hard-fought 28-21 victory over FIU behind Shomari Lawrence's two rushing touchdowns and Jacob Clark's pair of scoring strikes to Jmariyae Robinson. The Bears took control in the second half after the teams traded punches to a 14-14 halftime deadlock. FIU showed fight with Keyone Jenkins tossing two touchdowns before Joe Pesansky's late 5-yard TD pass to Jojo Stone, but the Panthers couldn't complete the comeback at Plaster Stadium.
