Recap

FIU exploded for 56 points in a dominant road win over Middle Tennessee, with quarterback Joe Pesansky accounting for five total touchdowns. The Panthers scored 35 second-half points, including 22 unanswered in the fourth quarter to break open what had been a competitive 34-24 game. Middle Tennessee's Nicholas Vattiato threw three touchdown passes in the losing effort, but the Blue Raiders couldn't keep pace with FIU's relentless offensive attack.
