Recap

Illinois dominated Western Michigan in a 38-0 shutout at Gies Memorial Stadium, with quarterback Luke Altmyer accounting for three touchdowns - two passing and one rushing. After a quiet first quarter with just a field goal, the Fighting Illini offense exploded for 35 points over the final three periods, including rushing scores from Kaden Feagin and Ca'Lil Valentine. The Broncos were completely stifled throughout the contest as Illinois cruised to their most complete victory of the season.
