Recap

Rice pulled out a thrilling 37-34 double-overtime victory over Connecticut behind Quinton Jackson's spectacular performance that included three touchdowns, including the game-winning 23-yard dash in the second extra period. The Owls rallied to force overtime after trailing 24-17 in the third quarter, with Jackson contributing a 73-yard run and a 75-yard reception during regulation. UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano had a valiant effort with three touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome Jackson's heroics at Rice Stadium.
