Houston pulled away from Colorado for a convincing 36-20 victory at TDECU Stadium, powered by quarterback Conner Weigman's two rushing touchdowns in the second half. The Cougars' kicker Ethan Sanchez was perfect on the night, connecting on all five field goal attempts including three from beyond 40 yards. Despite trailing just 16-14 at halftime after touchdown runs from Simeon Price and Zach Atkins, the Buffaloes couldn't overcome Houston's balanced attack.
