Recap

The Thundering Herd pulled out a thrilling 40-37 victory over the Bobcats in a game that needed multiple overtimes to decide a winner at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Marshall battled back from a late fourth-quarter deficit when Carlos Del Rio-Wilson connected with Adrian Norton on a 21-yard touchdown pass, only to have Texas State force overtime with Tyler Robles' clutch 50-yard field goal. Jo'Shon Barbie proved to be the hero for Marshall, scoring two crucial rushing touchdowns in the extra periods to secure the win.
