Louisiana-Monroe dominated from start to finish in a convincing 29-0 shutout over Saint Francis U to open the season. The Warhawks' offense found the end zone in all four quarters, with quarterback Aidan Armenta contributing both through the air and on the ground, including a 13-yard TD pass to Braylon McReynolds and a 7-yard scoring run. The Warhawks' defense pitched a perfect game, never allowing the Red Flash to get on the scoreboard in the season opener at Malone Stadium.
