Coastal Carolina stormed back from an early deficit to defeat South Alabama 38-20, powered by Tad Hudson's two touchdown passes and a rushing score. The Chanticleers seized control with 14 unanswered points in the third quarter after trailing 14-7 at one point. Ja'Vin Simpkins' 24-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter extended the lead before Tray Brown sealed the victory with a 13-yard fumble return touchdown late in the game.
