BYU stormed back from a 24-10 first-half deficit to stun Iowa State 41-27 at Jack Trice Stadium, outscoring the Cyclones 31-3 after halftime. Bear Bachmeier led the Cougars' comeback with three total touchdowns, including two scoring strikes to Parker Kingston and a go-ahead 9-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Cyclones, who started strong with Brett Eskildsen's 75-yard touchdown reception and two Carson Hansen rushing scores, were ultimately doomed by Faletau Satuala's momentum-sealing 40-yard pick-six early in the fourth quarter.
