Recap

Wake Forest secured a hard-fought 30-23 road victory over Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium, powered by Robby Ashford's touchdown pass to Eni Falayi and strong running from both Demond Claiborne and Ty Clark III. The Demon Deacons built a 10-point halftime lead and weathered Virginia Tech's third-quarter comeback attempt that cut the margin to just four. Despite three John Love field goals for the Hokies, Connor Calvert's fourth-quarter kick sealed the win for Wake Forest in a game that featured four lead changes.
