Recap

Tennessee edged Mississippi State 41-34 in an overtime thriller at Davis Wade Stadium, with DeSean Bishop's 25-yard touchdown run sealing the victory. The back-and-forth battle saw six lead changes, including Joey Aguilar's clutch 6-yard touchdown run with just 1:55 left to force overtime. Despite a valiant effort from the Bulldogs, who got two rushing touchdowns from Fluff Bothwell, the Volunteers' defense came up with two critical scores on an interception return and fumble recovery to help secure the road win.
