Recap

Purdue dominated Ball State 31-0 in a complete shutout at Ross-Ade Stadium, with quarterback Ryan Browne delivering a stellar performance that included two touchdown passes and a rushing score. The Boilermakers wasted no time, striking just 40 seconds into the game with Browne connecting with Arhmad Branch on a 49-yard touchdown pass. Purdue's defense was impenetrable throughout, while running back Devin Mockobee and receiver Michael Jackson III also found the end zone in the convincing season-opening victory.
