Recap

North Texas rolled to a 36-22 victory over South Alabama behind a stellar performance from Caleb Hawkins, who scored three touchdowns including a 68-yard reception and a clutch 27-yard run late in the fourth quarter. After the Jaguars jumped out to an early lead, the Mean Green responded with 21 unanswered points to take control. South Alabama threatened with a fourth-quarter touchdown and two-point conversion to narrow the gap to six, but Hawkins' final touchdown run with under two minutes remaining sealed the win at DATCU Stadium.
