Recap

SMU pulled off a stunning 35-24 road upset over Clemson at Memorial Stadium, powered by quarterback Kevin Jennings' two touchdown passes and a balanced offensive attack. The Mustangs never trailed, jumping to an early lead on Jennings' 70-yard bomb to Jordan Hudson and maintaining control with three Sam Keltner field goals. Despite Christopher Vizzina's valiant effort with three touchdown passes to keep the Tigers within striking distance, SMU sealed the victory with Chris Johnson Jr.'s 6-yard touchdown run in the final minutes.
