Recap

Iowa State survived a scare from Arkansas State, securing a hard-fought 24-16 road victory at Centennial Bank Stadium. The Red Wolves briefly took a 10-9 lead late in the second quarter on Jaylen Raynor's touchdown run, but the Cyclones immediately countered with Rocco Becht finding Dominic Overby for a 27-yard score before halftime. After Arkansas State closed to within one point in the fourth quarter, Abu Sama III's 4-yard touchdown run with 8:34 remaining gave the Cyclones the breathing room they needed to escape with the win.
