Connecticut powered past Air Force 26-16 behind a strong ground attack that featured three rushing touchdowns, including two from Cam Edwards in the second half. After briefly falling behind 7-6 in the first quarter, the Huskies reclaimed the lead with a Chris Freeman field goal before halftime and never looked back. Air Force's Dylan Carson found the end zone twice, but the Falcons couldn't overcome UConn's balanced scoring attack at Rentschler Field.
