Virginia opened their season with a dominant 48-7 rout of Coastal Carolina, scoring on their final play of the first quarter and never looking back. The Cavaliers piled up five touchdowns before the Chanticleers found the end zone, including two passing scores from Chandler Morris and two rushing TDs from J'Mari Taylor.
