Recap

Arizona State stunned Iowa State 24-19 at Jack Trice Stadium behind quarterback Jeff Sims' explosive performance, including an 88-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Sun Devils overcame an early Cyclone lead with Sims accounting for three touchdowns - two on the ground and an 18-yard strike to Chamon Metayer. Despite a late field goal from Kyle Konrardy, the Cyclones couldn't complete the comeback as Arizona State's defense held firm throughout a scoreless fourth quarter.
