Miami delivered a dominant performance at Hard Rock Stadium, dismantling NC State 41-7 behind Carson Beck's three touchdown passes, including two to Malachi Toney. The Hurricanes jumped out to an early lead with Jakobe Thomas' 60-yard interception return touchdown in the first quarter and never looked back. NC State avoided the shutout late when CJ Bailey scored on a 10-yard run with just over two minutes remaining, but it was far too little against the Hurricanes' overwhelming offensive attack.
