After building a 13-0 halftime lead behind Jayden Denegal's touchdown pass to Jordan Napier, the Aztecs' defense took over with back-to-back return touchdowns - a 35-yard fumble return by Dwayne McDougle and Chris Johnson's electrifying 97-yard interception return. Lucky Sutton's fourth-quarter touchdown run capped off the complete domination as San Diego State pitched its shutout.
