Recap

Hawaii secured a convincing 37-20 home victory over Sam Houston, led by quarterback Luke Weaver who connected with Pofele Ashlock for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to seal the win. The Rainbow Warriors jumped out to an early lead and never trailed, with Giovanni Iovino's 41-yard interception return touchdown providing a crucial defensive highlight. Despite the Bearkats cutting the deficit to seven points midway through the fourth quarter, Hawaii's offense responded with 10 unanswered points in the final minutes to pull away at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
