Recap

Austin Peay stormed into Murfreesboro and dominated Middle Tennessee 34-14 behind quarterback Chris Parson's two touchdown passes to different receivers. The Governors built a commanding 21-0 lead before halftime, with Courtland Simmons and Austin Smith each adding rushing touchdowns to the offensive onslaught. Despite two touchdown connections between Nicholas Vattiato and Nahzae Cox for the Blue Raiders, Middle Tennessee couldn't overcome Austin Peay's balanced attack and stout defense.
