USC rolled past Northwestern 38-17 at the Coliseum behind quarterback Jayden Maiava's dominant performance, throwing for two touchdowns and adding a rushing score. Makai Lemon contributed on both sides of the ball with a receiving touchdown and a 4-yard rushing score. After a tight first half that saw the teams knotted at 14, the Trojans pulled away with 17 unanswered points in the second half to seal the convincing victory.
