Recap

Minnesota edged New Mexico 20-17 in a thrilling overtime finish at Chase Field, as quarterback Drake Lindsey connected with Jalen Smith for a 12-yard touchdown to seal the victory. After Darius Taylor's go-ahead score in the fourth quarter, the Lobos answered immediately with Damon Bankston's electrifying 100-yard kick return and a two-point conversion to force overtime tied at 14-14. Luke Drzewiecki's field goal gave New Mexico a brief overtime lead, but Lindsey and Smith connected again to give the Golden Gophers the dramatic bowl win.
