Recap

The Ragin' Cajuns survived a back-and-forth thriller to edge Arkansas State 34-30 at Centennial Bank Stadium, powered by Lunch Winfield's two touchdowns and Bill Davis' go-ahead 36-yard score. The Red Wolves struck first with a field goal and fumble return touchdown, but couldn't maintain their advantage despite Chauncy Cobb's electric 93-yard kick return. Louisiana's defense stood tall in the fourth quarter, allowing just a field goal to secure their road victory in a contest that featured six lead changes.
