Recap

California held off a late North Carolina comeback to secure a 21-18 victory at California Memorial Stadium. The Golden Bears jumped to an early lead with Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele accounting for two first-quarter touchdowns - a 3-yard run and a 7-yard pass to Jacob De Jesus. Kendrick Raphael added a third-quarter touchdown for California before the Tar Heels made things interesting with Davion Gause's fourth-quarter touchdown and a successful two-point conversion.
