Recap

Old Dominion held off a furious fourth-quarter rally to edge Appalachian State 24-21 at Kornblau Field. Quarterback Colton Joseph powered the Monarchs with three touchdown passes, including a 70-yard strike to Ke'Travion Hargrove in the opening quarter and two more in the third period to build a commanding 24-7 lead. The Mountaineers mounted a late comeback with two touchdown passes from AJ Swann in the final frame, but ultimately fell short in this thrilling Sun Belt showdown.
