Recap

Illinois dominated Maryland 24-6 at Gies Memorial Stadium, with Luke Altmyer connecting with Hudson Clement for two touchdown strikes. Despite the Terrapins taking an early 3-0 lead on Sean O'Haire's field goal, the Fighting Illini responded with 24 unanswered points, including Kaden Feagin's 3-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. The Illinois defense stifled Maryland throughout, holding the Terrapins to just two field goals in a commanding Big Ten victory.
