Recap

TCU secured the coveted Iron Skillet with a 35-24 victory over SMU, powered by Josh Hoover's five touchdown passes, including three to Eric McAlister. The Horned Frogs showed resilience after briefly falling behind 24-21 in the fourth quarter when the Mustangs took their first lead on Jordan Hudson's 34-yard touchdown catch. McAlister answered with two explosive touchdown receptions of 70 and 44 yards in the final quarter to help TCU pull away for good.
