Tulane powered past Tulsa 31-14 in an American Athletic Conference clash dominated by the Green Wave ground attack. Javin Gordon led the way with three rushing touchdowns, including the decisive 25-yard scamper that broke a 14-14 tie late in the second quarter. The Green Wave's defense clamped down after halftime, holding Tulsa scoreless despite a spectacular 72-yard touchdown connection from Baylor Hayes to Brody Foley that had temporarily evened the score.
