Michigan held off a determined Purdue squad for a 21-16 victory, riding the dominant performance of running back Jordan Marshall who scored all three Wolverine touchdowns. The Boilermakers kept it competitive with Antonio Harris's second-quarter touchdown run and a late score from Ryan Browne to Malachi Thomas, but their failed two-point conversion proved costly. Marshall's third touchdown run early in the fourth quarter provided just enough cushion for the Wolverines to secure the win at Michigan Stadium.
