The Roadrunners dominated East Carolina 58-24 in a sensational offensive showcase at the Alamodome. UTSA quarterback Owen McCown delivered a masterful performance with five touchdown passes to five different receivers, building a commanding 41-3 lead through three quarters. The Pirates showed life in the second half with Katin Houser throwing for two touchdowns, but UTSA's Shad Banks Jr. sealed the blowout with a 21-yard interception return touchdown in the fourth quarter.
