The Hurricanes survived a late Seminoles rally to claim a 28-22 victory in a thrilling edition of the storied rivalry at Doak Campbell Stadium. Miami quarterback Carson Beck dominated with four touchdown passes, including two to Malachi Toney who hauled in scores of 44 and 40 yards. Florida State mounted a furious fourth-quarter comeback with Tommy Castellanos throwing two touchdowns and Jake Weinberg adding a late field goal, but the 25-point deficit proved too much to overcome.
