Washington overpowered Illinois 42-25 behind quarterback Demond Williams Jr.'s four touchdown passes, including two to Dezmen Roebuck in the opening quarter. The Fighting Illini briefly took a 17-14 lead in the second quarter before the Huskies reclaimed control with a late first-half touchdown and never looked back. Jonah Coleman contributed both a receiving and rushing touchdown as Washington pulled away in the second half at Husky Stadium.
