Recap

Indiana delivered a stunning 38–3 demolition of Alabama in the Rose Bowl, dominating from start to finish in Pasadena. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza orchestrated the Hoosiers' attack with three touchdown passes, while running backs Kaelon Black and Roman Hemby added rushing scores in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach. The Hoosiers' defense completely stifled the Crimson Tide, holding them to just a field goal in a historic College Football Playoff statement win.
