Recap

Arkansas State stunned Appalachian State with a thrilling 30-29 comeback victory at Kidd Brewer Stadium, capped by Kenyon Clay's 1-yard touchdown run with just 42 seconds remaining. The Red Wolves' quarterback Jaylen Raynor delivered three touchdown passes, including two to Corey Rucker, in a back-and-forth contest that saw five lead changes. Despite five field goals from App State's Dominic De Freitas and two touchdown passes from JJ Kohl, the Mountaineers couldn't hold their late 29-23 advantage.
