Missouri flexed its defensive muscle with two pick-sixes while powering past Mississippi State 49-27 at Faurot Field. The Tigers jumped to an early lead behind Matt Zollers' two first-quarter touchdown passes, then pulled away in the second half as Ahmad Hardy exploded for three rushing touchdowns, including electric runs of 72 and 43 yards. The Bulldogs kept fighting with Blake Shapen scoring twice on the ground, but Missouri's defensive scores from Toriano Pride Jr. and Marvin Burks Jr. sealed their convincing SEC victory.
