Recap

FIU dominated the second half to capture a 38-28 Shula Bowl victory over Florida Atlantic, scoring 21 unanswered third-quarter points to take control. Kejon Owens powered the Panthers' offense with two rushing touchdowns, while quarterback Keyone Jenkins added a scoring run and a 26-yard touchdown pass to Alex Perry. Despite FAU quarterback Caden Veltkamp accounting for three total touchdowns and the Owls getting a late blocked punt return, the Panthers' offensive explosion proved too much.
