Recap

Wake Forest survived a nail-biter against Kennesaw State, escaping with a 10-9 victory in Winston-Salem. Robby Ashford's early 5-yard touchdown run gave the Demon Deacons the initial lead before the Owls responded with Coleman Bennett's 19-yard rushing score. After Kennesaw State briefly took the lead on Daniel Kinney's third-quarter field goal, Wake Forest's Connor Calvert delivered the game-winning 22-yard kick with just over three minutes remaining in the third quarter.
