Eastern Michigan rallied in the fourth quarter to secure a 16-10 victory over Northern Illinois in a tightly contested MAC battle at Rynearson Stadium. The Eagles reclaimed the lead on quarterback Noah Kim's 6-yard touchdown pass to Joshua Long, followed by Rudy Kessinger's third field goal of the day to seal the win. Despite a spectacular 80-yard touchdown run by Northern Illinois' Telly Johnson Jr. that briefly gave the Huskies a 10-6 advantage in the third quarter, Eastern Michigan's defense held firm down the stretch to preserve the home victory.
