Recap

The Chanticleers stormed back in a thrilling 45-37 road victory over Appalachian State, scoring 21 fourth-quarter points to complete the comeback. Coastal Carolina erased a 37-31 deficit with late touchdown runs by Dominic Knicely and Jevon Edwards, turning the tide in the final minutes. Despite Appalachian State's early dominance behind JJ Kohl's two touchdown passes and Jaden Barnes' electrifying 77-yard punt return, the Mountaineers couldn't hold off the Chanticleers' relentless ground attack.
