Recap

The Sooners stunned Alabama 23-21 at Bryant-Denny Stadium, holding off a Crimson Tide comeback after building an early 10-0 lead on Eli Bowen's 87-yard pick-six. Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer's 20-yard touchdown run proved crucial, while kicker Tate Sandell delivered three field goals, including the game-winner from 24 yards out early in the fourth quarter. Despite Daniel Hill's two rushing touchdowns giving Alabama a brief 21-20 lead in the third, the Sooners' defense locked down in the final quarter to secure the upset.
