James Madison steamrolled Appalachian State 58-10 in a dominant ground attack featuring seven rushing touchdowns at Bridgeforth Stadium. The Dukes built a commanding 27-0 halftime lead behind scores from Wayne Knight, Jobi Malary, and Alonza Barnett III. Malary finished with three touchdowns while Barnett added two scores as the Mountaineers remained scoreless until the fourth quarter, finally getting on the board with a field goal and a late Davion Dozier touchdown reception.
