Texas Tech exploded to an 18-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a commanding 42-17 victory over Kansas at Jones AT&T Stadium. The Red Raiders' ground game proved unstoppable with Cameron Dickey breaking loose for two long touchdown runs, including a 71-yarder in the opening minutes and a 55-yard dash to start the fourth quarter. After Kansas closed to within four points before halftime, Texas Tech shut out the Jayhawks in the second half while adding three more touchdowns to their total.
